We had a wonderful stay! The property was very clean, had tons of things to do, and was in the perfect location—close to town but far enough away to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet. Being right on the water made it even better. It was such a relaxing getaway, and we would definitely stay here again!

This property was absolutely amazing, exactly how it is described. My family enjoyed the access to the water and we had a blast swimming in the water and kayaking. This is in a great location close to town but just far enough away from town to enjoy the peace and quiet of nature! The fire pit was a hit with the kids making s'mores and we actually cooked steaks on the fire pit under the open fire. We had an amazing trip and will be back in the near future. I would definitely recommend his property 100%!

We loved this property! The river and outdoor space was amazing. Beds were super comfortable and the space was perfect for our family. Having the additional ice maker in the pantry was great-but just fyi- the owner might want to have a sign that states to leave the pantry door open for ventilation. If the pantry door stays closed the machine heats the space quickly and may ruin food or cause damage to the pantry closet eventually. We’ve stayed in 3 different Broken Bow rentals and this was by far the best experience we’ve had! We would definitely rent again and hope to soon. Thanks!!

Very clean house, and property! The house was slightly smaller than pictures made it seem, but it worked just fine. I would recommend something for the fencing, it was a straight cliff drop off that did feel uneasy with dogs and small children. But we managed! Close to broken bow. Easy drive.

Amazing retreat

Absolutely enjoyed this house to the FULLEST! Amazing location. The cleanliness of this house was top notch. The rocks at the bottom of the stairs were sketchy, but managable! The provided kayaks provided endless entertainment. I can NOT WAIT to return!

Beautiful water front cabin with direct river access.

We had a great time at this waterfront cabin. We enjoyed using the provided canoes to paddle up river and float back down. The water was clear and we felt comfortable swimming in the river. The property was beautiful with rocking chairs, a fire pit, and provided outdoor games. We especially loved how s’mores pack and bottle of wine was provided! It was nice not being on top of our neighbors and felt like we had privacy.

Amazing getaway

We had an amazing time. The kids spent quite a lot of time at the river enjoying the kayaks. The cabin was fully stocked and everything to make smores was supplied. We spent the evenings relaxing and playing games in the outdoor area. The outdoor lighting was accompanied by misters for those muggy evenings. Highly recommend this place for a nice family getaway.

Loved this stay and cannot wait to book again! You cannot tell they allow pets here but it's a huge thing in our family as we vacay with them. They thought of every detail.

This cabin was absolutely amazing. The furniture was great quality, the cleanliness superb, and they truly thought of everything. Every detail made our stay comfortable and easy. It means so much to us to be able to bring our dogs - they're part of our family and always travel with us, so having a place that welcomes them made the experienced every more special but make no mistake, you cannot tell there are ever animals there. The hot tub was another highlight - clean, well maintained, and perfectly conditioned. You can tell the owners take price in keeping everything top-notch. We genuinely cannot wait to come back. Highly recommended!

Peaceful Weekend getaway with family

Stayed in kingfisher cabin it was quite and secluded the cabin was very clean. Almost all amenities were provided including everything to make s’mores for the kids. Fishing in the river was awesome. Will definitely be returning back for another stay soon!!!!

Wonderful Get Away

Great cabin layout for our group of four adults. The cool mornings having a cup a coffee on the deck overlooking the river is amazing. Very calm an quiet place to hang out with family and friends.

All I can say is WOW! Great communication from host/property manager from beginning to end. The cabin is amazing and practically has everything (except food and beverage) and you won't want or need to leave. Beautiful property outside the cabin as well. Definitely recommend and will come back! PS: The smores ingredients were a nice touch!

Great Fall Break on the River

Our family of 4 had a fantastic stay at the cabin. Beds were comfy, cabin and outside was clean, hot tub was great, and kayaks were fun for a paddle on the river. We enjoyed the s’more supplies provided at the fire pit each night. Kids loved the loft and playground area. Can’t wait to come back in summer to enjoy the river more!

This place was amazing! Super cute cabin with an amazing view and direct access to the river. The river is so clear and you can walk all the way across. The amenities are great too! Including a large hot tub, kids playground, horseshoe pit, large fire pit (fire wood included), plenty of real wood chairs, swing, games, kayaks and privacy. Love the welcome basket too! Great place to hang out with family and friends and enjoy nature! We’ll definitely be back soon and often! Far enough from the noise and close enough to enjoy the fun!

Great week vacation

My wife and I and 2 dogs stayed for 5 days and it was a wonderful trip. The cabin was clean, updated and roomy, with lots of amenities like a grill, games, kayaks. Location was amazing right on the river with easy access. Close to Broken Bow and Hocatown. Would highly recommend!

Great cabin ever.

We had a wonderful 3-day stay at the Kingfisher Cabin. Our group included four adults, and the space was perfect for all of us. The cabin was clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The peaceful setting and beautiful surroundings made it a relaxing retreat from our daily routines. Fishing at the waterfront was great and added a fun and memorable experience to our stay. We especially appreciated the outdoor area—it was a great place to unwind and enjoy nature. This is a five star stay. Cabin was clean, comfortable, secluded. Great set up with Kayaks, campfire, horseshoes and lots of outdoor seating to take it all in. Very quiet area and just all around awesome-Exactly what we were looking for. Wifi worked great the whole time and thats always an issue with staying out in these parts. Wonderful Fall Break

We had a blast being at the Kingfisher! The river is beautiful and the space was perfect for our family. We stay at cabins every year and the River Top Cabins were the most stocked we have experienced. All the amenities were wonderful and made for a great stay and so many memories. We can’t wait to come back.

Kingfisher Cabin

Our stay at the kingfisher cabin in Boken Bow Oklahoma was wonderful!! Dawnisa made it enjoyable from our first interactions.. She answered all my questions and made everything so easy! The cabin was beautiful and so clean which I truly appreciate.. I totally recommend it to everyone! Will definitely be returning 😁

We loved our stay in the Kingfisher Cabin! It was incredible being right on the river and having kayaks to use on site! The cabin was clean, and they had everything we needed to make s’mores waiting on us, including the firewood! We will definitely rent from them again!

Great place for a get-away!!

Our second stay @ River Top in as many years. We really enjoy this place and its seclusion. Only things not functioning were the water and ice dispenser of the refrigerator and the charcoal grill had a lot of water in it— very minor inconveniences. Plan to return

Just Perfect

We have stayed in Grandview before and this time Kingfisher. Just like before everything was perfect. Dawnisa is great to work with. Very nice cabin. In my opinion they seem to have thought of everything. I think when we go back to Broken Bow maybe we will go in September or October when it is a little warmer. We took advantage of the fire pit, cornhole game, grill and horseshoes. We did not use the Kayaks or Hot Tub, maybe next time. They had everything we needed to have Thanksgiving up there. Plenty of plates, silverware, trash bags, etc. Since we brought most of our food with us I was thinking I needed to get ice so our cold stuff would not go bad when driving home. They actually had an ice machine in the cabin. Like I said they have thought of everything. We had a very nice time.

Kingfisher, A family place ready to go

We loved our time that and wish we could have stayed longer. Everything there had been taken care of and and even fire wood was awaiting us. Plus there was good fishing at the bottom of the stairs. We will go again Larry L

Best Cabin Ever!

This is our 2nd time staying at Kingfisher! We booked our stay months out for an Oct visit and the weather was perfect! The trees all around were starting to change colors and the water was amazing (a little cold but perfect)! I love this cabin(area) because the water is shallow enough for us to sit on the bank and let the kids just play with no worries! There is so much to do for all age ranges that we never left the cabin! We will definitely be back next year no doubt! Thank you to Dawnisa (property manager) for such great communication too! Love her!

Great Stay

We had a very relaxing and stress-free stay. The kids loved the activities that were provided such as the corn hole boards, horseshoes, and the kayaks. Check out was simple. We cleaned up, gathered our belongings, and sent a text message. This was a much easier check out process than many other cabins I've stayed in. The cabin is well furnished and the yard outside is nicely lit with string lights. Firewood was provided for the fire pit, which is another really great accommodation. We will book with them again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Kingfisher! It was very cozy inside and well kept. There were several dishes, you cancels and other appliances, such as a crockpot available for use. There were several large towels as well. The ensuite bathroom conveniently had a caddy on the wall. It had conditioner, shampoo and body soap in it. The only real issue I had was I could not figure out for the life of me. How to get the hot tub to power on. When I called for assistance, they immediately sent someone over to correct the situation. Other than that our stay was great! We enjoy the kayaks, met a lot of very friendly people on the river. We took a couple of fishing Poles and also had a great time Fishing. Couldn't identify a few of the fish that we caught, but we also caught a catfish! We made smores and drank wine one evening, all compliments of the cabin. We felt really safe being outdoors. There were security lights as well as several string lights, making the night time ambiance beautiful. There was coffee an automatic coffee Maker available for use in the morning, which we thoroughly enjoyed when taking in the a.m. views outside. It was a great time, and as I started this entire review stating, we will most definitely do it again. 🥰

A Real Gem

Our family of 4 adults just returned from a weekend stay at the Kingfisher Cabin. Everything was top notch from the booking process, the amenities, and our stay there. Dawnisa (property manager) was incredibly helpful and immediately responsive any time we had a question. The cabin and grounds were so well appointed and VERY clean. We immediately felt comfortable and at home. There is so much to do on site including, kayaking, horseshoes, corn hole, a fire pit (s'mores supplies and wood included), a charcoal grill, lots of comfortable outdoor seating and board games. We did everything and enjoyed it all! The cabin is beautiful and located in a picturesque setting on the river. It is so quiet and peaceful and incredibly relaxing. We drove to Beavers Bend State Park (30 minutes away) and enjoyed half a day of hiking as well. It is a beautiful park and only cost $10 for a day parking pass. We were only at the cabin 2 nights and enjoyed our time there so much that aside from the hiking trip, we did not explore much of Broken Bow or the surrounding area...we'll save that for next time! Our kids are adults but the cabin would be very child friendly too. Kids would LOVE the loft and there is a fantastic outdoor play set (swings, slide, fort etc). We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and plan to come back in the future.

Although we planned on floating in the river, nature had different plans. We had a fantastic time enjoying the scenery and taking time to regroup. The cabin was well appointed and one small issue with the coffee maker was promptly addressed. We all enjoyed the stay and made use of the fire pit,kayaks and hot tub. Ready to return

Kingfisher was a great little spot to get away and enjoy nature. Being right on the river gave the boys a great chance to fish without having to pack everything up and head to a fishing spot. Hosts were great and quick to respond to any questions that came up during the stay. Would definitely book again.

Spring break 2023 trip

We had a fantastic stay at the Kingfisher. This property is likely the best run vacation rental that we have ever booked. The host was extremely well organized, communication was top notch, the cabin itself was extremely well appointed and comfortable. There is literally nothing that could have made our stay more enjoyable. I HIGHLY recommend this cabin and management company. I gave them 5 starts because 6 stars wasn't an option!

We loved the cabin and the property! The river was just gorgeous! Cabin was clean and nice. The property was large for outdoor time and included so many different seating areas and activities-kayaking, horse shoes, campfire, hot tub, corn hole, and a playground. My husband and I went with another couple but can’t wait to go back with our kids. Great for adult or family vacation.

Perfect Weekend

Great weekend!!!! The weather was beautiful and the temps perfect. The cabin has an amazing view and so relaxing to sit on the porch and take in God's beauty. We saw an eagle, a red headed wood, and an armadillo. The house had everything you need. I have already recommended River Top Resort to friends.

Family Getaway

Loved the property and outdoor space. Slept our family of plus a dog comfortably. Great welcome basket and super responsive property manager. We did not realize how far the property is from Hochatown but would definitely go back with the intention of spending more time on-site and cooking at home. All in all great experience!

was a stay beyond expectations

7 of 9 of us got to make it for vacation and we fit perfectly in the cabin and never felt crowded. Outdoor seating and accommodations were great, hubby is a large man and all the rustic seats and swing outside were sturdy and comfortable. The mist away was a great bonus outdoors, no one got chewed up by mosquitoes. The 57 steps down to the river weren’t as bad as I had expected. With a landing at each section to stop and take in the scenery made the daunting trip back up very doable. Our group ranged from 17-75 and everyone of us enjoyed the the river and kayaks. The cabin is well taken care of. We did buy a large plastic tea pitcher and left it there (in hopes it would still be there when we come back next august) there are plenty of dishes, pots and pans. Does need some large bowls for salads or fruit for serving but We luckily had gallon size baggies and just mixed our salad in that. We played cornhole, horse shoes, and there are plenty of other games up in the loft to bring down and play. Truly pack your bag and food and show up. It’s beautiful inside and out. The first night there we rebooked for next year. We have been coming down for hubby’s birthday since 2019 and the Kingfisher is our favorite cabin out of the other 3 we have stayed at. Any questions we had we answered very quickly, communication is exceptional. Hochatown is only about 20 minutes away. Oh, and they had us a welcome basket with a bottle of wine and complete s’mores set when we arrived. That was very thoughtful and appreciated.

Family Time at Its Best

We spent Father’s Day weekend at the Kingfisher. It was perfection! From the family games nights, to the lazy days in the river to the kayaking adventures. No detail was left out. We have been coming to the Broken now area for ten years now and this weekend was our best yet. The cabin is perfectly appointed for family meals and family fun. Thank you for the memories.

The property instantly impressed. The beautiful views and woodsy ambience enriched the experience beyond just the activities offered at the cabin. There was nothing missing in the cabin, and we appreciated the welcome gifts. We had plenty of room for our family and our dog. No worries about having plenty of towels. That’s a huge plus for a family full of females! Loved the labels on the lights, fans, and TV remotes. Serious attention to detail. In my experience with rentals, there aren’t enough products like dishwashing or laundry detergent. We always have to purchase something. We had everything we needed and more. I would definitely recommend this cabin to friends and family.

Kingfisher plus more

Where to start? The owners are incredibly welcoming from the moment you book to any questions or needs you may have. The setup and quality of the cabin are outstanding. Very clean, well decorated, and we’ll equipped in an elegant fashion from needs for a family vacation or to a honeymoon or anniversary. It’s positioning on the river is perfect, kayaking was a blast being located at a fork in the river with us having options on which way to go. Kayaking, fishing, horseshoes, fire pit, a playground for kiddos, hot tub, cornhole boards, board games, and more. I love my life here in Texas, but I now have a getaway I’ll definitely be taking back to Oklahoma!

Peaceful retreat.

This was the cleanest VRBO property I have ever stayed in. So kudos to the cleaning crew. We went in early March and the river was very calm, my husband was able to take my 2 year old in the Kayak with him. We enjoyed the fire pit, smores, grill, playground. Our teenager hung out in the upstairs loft. This was a memorable family weekend for us. Wish we had stayed a bit longer to explore Beavers Bend Park. Overall, we loved the luxury cabin, trees, birds, and kayaks.

Lovely Waterfront cabin with AWESOME VIEW

Waterfront cabin with AWESOME view and steps to the river - WHO could want more? Our family of four (2 kids ages 14 and 17) visited March 2019 for Spring Break. We have stayed at numerous cabins in Broken Bow over the years and this one by far has been our favorite. It's the total package: great view, quiet, quaint, fully furnished cabin (exceeded our expectations) I brought a crockpot and of course there was one there......everything you need and even complimentary bottle of wine (nice touch) and the endless amenities (enjoyed the kayaks, easy river access, hot tub with speakers (my kids loved that), firepit, horseshoes and plenty of seating to enjoy nature and the outdoors. Can't say enough about our stay. The owner (Dawnisa) was in touch with me before and after our trip. Very good about communicating and making sure you enjoy your trip. We hated to leave and wished we could have stayed longer. We'll definitely be back!

Outside not clean, looked like someone helped themself to a good time (sweet owners made up for issue very quickly). Can't turn ac below 72 because it will freeze. Not for people that are used to it colder, makes for some tough sleeping. Cap edges on rails leading down to river are super sharp and grass was pretty tall by river so there was several snakes hanging around. For a group of adults or older kids it really is overall a good place to stay. Was really impressed with how close to the water and how beautiful it is. Also a big plus to the little things, complimentary wine and good toilet paper!

Labor Day Getaway

This was an awesome getaway for my family. My wife and I brought our two daughters and their husbands, as well as one grandchild. Everything was clean, private, and well laid out. The outdoor space was super cool with a lot of seating and games to keep everyone happy. The deck leading into the river was one of the best parts and the easily accessible kayaks made it even better. The only downfall is that there was not space for an indoor table for 6 of us to eat and also the living room space only had seating for 4 people so we moved an ottoman from the master bedroom to help fill that gap. Since the weather was great, it worked out because we spent most of the time outside, if it would have been raining though, it would have been a challenge to stay inside to eat and hang out. The bedrooms and bathrooms were wonderful though! We also brought two medium sized dogs and the lay out was safe for them to roam around outside with us.

The property and the views were so beautiful. It was the perfect getaway for me, my wife, 7 friends and 2 dogs! The house was very clean and the hot tub was ready to go when I got there. Great customer service. As soon as I called the property owner for an AC issue she immediately had someone over to fix the issue. She was just as responsive when we needed more towels to accommodate our large party. I'm extremely happy that we've found this gem. I'll definitely be back again for years to come, and can't wait to share this place with ALL of my friends

Great Multigenerational Family Trip

Two cabins (we booked both) were great for 4 families within our extended family. From grandparents to teens to little kids it was a great fit. Our favorite part was the common area with the fire pits & cornhole & the FOREST above & RIVER below made everything magical. One of the cabins (Grandview I think) has a breezeway with outdoor TV where we watched scary movies every night. Great communication from owners. It was an affordable but still really cool alternative to the big beach trips we take every year. Easy drive from OKC for us. We enjoyed hiking & kayaking in Beavers Bend (35 min drive but it's so pretty it felt like nothing)... and one day we rented a pontoon boat & swam in the lake half the day. Amazing memory! The river below our cabins was too fast & water too high & dangerous to kayak or swim. But! The Beavers Bend / Broken Bow excursions were so pretty & easy to do, it was fine!

Friends 6th Annual Getaway

This is our second stay on this property. Last year it took our breath away because the location is perfect for enjoying the river. This year, again, it was exactly what we needed! This time we took a bigger group but rented both cabins that are near each other. Both places are kept really cleaned. The property is in excellent condition. There are sooo many towels, it was awesome! I tried all the beds and they were so comfy, there are fans in all the rooms, kayaks available to use, hot tubs worked wonderfully, the kitchen has all the appliances and cooking ware you may need, and even had some spices for use to use. Wonderful Getaway Cabin

The Kingfisher cabin's location is in a quiet and peaceful location, with a beautiful river view, which provides for a relaxing stay. The cabin is roomy and has a bright open layout with a warm relaxed décor. High quality bedding, and furnishings are in every room . What was really appreciated and used were the kayaks, fire pit, and horse shoe pit. WiFi was strong throughout the cabin. We look forward to booking this property again soon!

Isolation Vacation

We decided that in the midst of COVID-19 we needed a break from our own home, and decided to visit River Top Cabins and stayed in the Kingfisher Cabin. My family of 5 (2 teenage boys and a 5 year old boy, and my husband and I) had the best time! We enjoyed the river, the hot tub, (I LOVED) the covered porch, and fire pit. It ended up raining while we were there, but we still had a great time playing all the provided games (horseshoes, cornhole, and the board/card games). We will definitely be back to celebrate birthdays and just enjoy the ambiance of River Top Cabins!

Amazing Property

I booked this cabin for my husband, his nephew, his nephew’s girlfriend and friend to celebrate a belated birthday. I was a little nervous about the space being too small considering all guests were adults. There was plenty of space and plenty of room to move around. The cabin was super clean and very well decorated. I loved the ability to hang out by the fire, grill, or down in the river. The best part was probably having kayak’s on site & we were able to explore the surrounding area. It’s a stunning river just make sure to bring actual water shoes!!! A few toes were sacrificed to the river gods 😂 I also loved that this cabin was more toward the end of the row of cabins on the drive up. Gave us that very secluded and sense of privacy. The property managers were super awesome at communicating since my maps weren’t pulling up the address correctly and they were really quick to help me find our way.

Great getaway

Wonderful cabin. We really enjoyed the Kayaks and sitting around the camp fire at night. The hot tub was really nice. Cabin was clean and the owners were easy to work with. There was so much to do just at the cabin we hardly left during our stay. Would definitely book again.

Tranquility !

The cabin is beautiful and very serene. If you are looking to enjoy some relaxation in a luxury cabin. Kingfisher is the place to go! All little details are thought of. You can really tell the owners care about their guests. This is a must see !

Great view!!

Our stay was perfect! There was plenty to do for everyone.... hot tub, horseshoes, corn hole, board games, fire pit, and fishing. My five year old especially enjoyed the playground. Our favorite thing to do was relax in the hot tub at night and enjoy the beautiful waterfront view. It was a great way to ring in the new year! I can’t wait to return in the summer for kayaking!!

We had a wonderful stay. The owners were very responsive and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable! The cabin was exceptionally clean (with LOTS of towels available), tastefully decorated, and in a perfectly quiet location. The outdoor space is great for many different activities. We didn't have any luck catching fish, but did enjoy kayaking on the river. I will say that the pots and pans could use an upgrade as the teflon coating was chipped and flaking. I usually bring my own pot and pan for cooking when we travel because of this... (seems to be the norm for rentals), but forgot them this time. I would definitely recommend staying here.
