With its convenient location off Highway 259, this property offers two separate cottages. The larger home built in 1945 from native stone has 2 bedrooms (one king with an ensuite full bath and one queen) downstairs and one attic bunk room with two twin beds. The small cottage behind the larger house has a full-size bedroom downstairs as well as an additional attic bunk room with 4 twins. These two together comfortably sleeps 12 in beds. The age of the house makes for a quaint, comfortable stay that includes a hot tub, fire pit, balcony, and outdoor kitchen complete with a fridge and propane fireplace. Back inside the larger home, you'll find a complete eat-in kitchen, dining room, and a wood burning fireplace and pool table in the living area. The smaller cottage also has its own kitchen and bath. Washer and dryers can be found in both as well.
The location off 259 makes for the perfect place to stay if you're bringing a boat or pontoon to enjoy the lake. It's only 8 miles from the lake, ten minutes from Idabel golf course, a mile from the casino and 10 minutes to the lower Mountain Fork River kayak outfitters. Your neighbors to the north is a church and to the south is a flower shop and dentist office. You'll have plenty of privacy for your friends and family to enjoy on this ten-acre property with a long drive-way from the highway to the houses.
Please note that although the historic has had upgrades and renovations done, the age of the home means steep, narrow stairs to get to the bunk rooms and a basement laundry. If you prefer new and shiny, this is not the house for you. If you want charm, cleanliness, convenient location, and the perfect spot for two or three families to share, then you've found the one!

Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges (less $75.00 cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges (less $75.00 cancellation fee) will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 14 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 14 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.
